Valley PreSchool
Last
fall marked the 37th anniversary of Valley PreSchool's ministry to 3, 4 & 5 year
olds! The early childhood program at VPS is designed to augment home
experiences, providing opportunity for social, emotional, spiritual,
intellectual, and physical growth and development. It meets from 9:00 to 11:45
a.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (September - May) in rooms on the first
floor of the Christian Education Building.

Welcome!
We want your child to feel welcome at the Houghton Wesleyan Church. We desire to
partner with families in cultivating spiritual growth in our children. We want
children to know that they are loved, valued, and to be nurtured in their faith
thus developing a passion for loving and following God. During the School Year,
we offer the following Wednesday evening ministries from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m.

Lay Shepherds...
share in the responsibility of offering and coordinating caregiving for those
who have special needs within our congregation and neighborhoods. Lay Shepherds
work closely with the Pastoral staff and provide support to families in times of
crisis or transition. They arrange for carry-in meals during times of illness,
and are involved in home visitation. Lay Shepherds coordinate occasional
informal neighborhood fellowship events, and each Lay Shepherding group hosts
one church-wide fellowship event each year.
