New to HWC

Welcome to Houghton Wesleyan Church!

hwcOur passion is to joyfully love God and wholeheartedly serve others. We view the church as a hospital where all of us in our brokenness experience the love of Christ. We desire to be a safe place to share life together and to progress in our journey with God through biblical teaching and by encouraging each other to be loving witnesses of Christ’s grace and truth.

Sunday School

Sunday School classes are offered during the 9:40AM – 10:40AM hour. There are a variety of classes offered for adults and classes are available for all age children. Coffee and Hot Chocolate are offered in the gym on Sunday mornings. Stop by, refresh and enjoy fellowship!

Connect

There are many ways to get involved. Joining a Sunday School class or a small group is an excellent way to engage with others outside of the worship service. Small groups and classes provide opportunities to connect, a place to belong and foster growth in your relationship with Christ. Small groups provide an opportunity to encourage and support others and to be encouraged and supported yourself.  Serving in one or more of the various ministries and serving teams of the church is also a way to connect. Volunteers are a vital part of our church; you are invited and encouraged to use your gifts to serve people who are a part of the church and people who are not, both locally and globally.   If you would like to talk with someone personally, give us a call:   585-567-2264 We would love to answer your questions and help you get connected.
